BBC viewers have just discovered that a star of The Night Manager has a very famous mother.
The second series of the popular BBC One thriller began earlier this month and is currently captivating audiences. The initial series, which aired in 2016, centred around ex-British soldier Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston), who managed a luxury hotel in Cairo at night.
Jonathan was enlisted by Angela Burr (Olivia Colman), the head of a Foreign Office task force investigating illegal arms sales. Angela hired him to infiltrate the inner circle of a clandestine arms dealer without revealing his identity.
One character from the first series was young actor Noah Jupe, who portrayed Daniel 'Danny' Roper, the son of Richard 'Dickie' Roper, played by Hugh Laurie, in the show.
Noah, now 20, has reprised his role in the second series of The Night Manager, once again sharing the screen with Tom Hiddleston.

Viewers were taken aback to discover that Noah's real-life mother is a well-known actress and a favourite on Coronation Street.
Noah's mother is actress Katy Cavanagh, 52, who played Julie Carp in Coronation Street from 2008 to 2015 and made a comeback to the ITV soap last year for Eileen Grimshaw's exit storyline, portrayed by Sue Cleaver.
In a heart-wrenching plot twist, Katy's character Julie was written out and killed off after disclosing her cancer diagnosis. Besides Coronation Street, Katy has also been recognised for her roles in The Cops, The Bill, Bob and Rose, and Murder on the Blackpool Express.
However, Katy isn't alone in possessing star quality, as she's the proud mother of two Hollywood actor sons, Noah and his younger brother Jacobi, 11. Katy and her producer husband Chris Jupe have three children, including their actor sons Noah and Jacobi.
Both Noah and Jacobi recently featured in the film Hamnet, alongside Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal and Joe Alwyn. Jacobi portrayed Hamnet Shakespeare, son of William and Agnes and twin to Judith, whilst Noah took on the role of Hamlet.
Prior to Hamnet, Jacobi had appeared in the 2023 Disney production Peter Pan and Wendy, playing Michael Darling, as well as television series Britannia, Tom Jones and Before.
Meanwhile, Noah has amassed an impressive portfolio of credits. He starred in the horror film A Quiet Place and its follow-up A Quiet Place Part II alongside Emily Blunt, John Krasinski and Cillian Murphy, playing Marcus Abbott, the on-screen son of Evelyn (Emily Blunt) and Lee (John Krasinski).
Additional roles include portraying Henry Fraser in The Undoing, alongside Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant, plus the film Suburbicon, starring Matt Damon and Julianne Moore.
The Night Manager airs every Sunday at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
