MAFS UK STAR LETS SLIP E4 SHOW'S BEHIND-THE-SCENES SECRET FANS WON'T SEE ON CAMERA

A Married At First Sight UK star has let slip one of the show's little known secrets that may come as a surprise to some fans.

Series 10 of the hit E4 dating show was packed full of drama and mayhem with more hopeful singles waiting to meet their perfect match on their wedding day.

For some, the process was a breeze with instant connections formed, but for other's, there were plenty of obstacles along the way.

From bombshell revelations to cheating claims, this series had it all but despite multiple couples making it to final vows, and taking their relationships to the outside, just one couple remain together weeks after the show aired - and that is Abi and John.

Following the show, a series of break ups were announced including Rebecca and Bailey and Davide and Keye as the cast continue to speak out about their experiences from the show.

Now, one star has revealed a little known behind the scenes secret that may come as a huge surprise to some viewers.

Speaking on the Private Parts Podcast, in a clip that was shared to Instagram, Leigh and Davide were asked whether they were allowed their own mobile phones on the show. The answer of course, is no, they were given production phones.

But what fans may not realise, is that production teams are said to track their phones and do not allow them to go in groups of four outside of filming.

On the podcast, Leigh - who was married to Leah on the show, admitted it was "f***** chaos" off camera when the group were out drinking as Davide said it was "like being at uni again".

Davide, who was married to Keye on the show before announcing their split, went on to say: "We're not supposed to be in more than groups of four, because they track your phones, the production phones they gave us, they track them."

Admitting they were not allowed access to their normal phones, host Olivia asked how cast member Steven had access to dating app Hinge - after it was discovered he had been using the site.

Davide replied: "He got his phone back when he went home."

Leigh added: "This is the thing about this story right, I don't think that this has ever been explained. So Nelly and Steven had got to a point where I think they both knew it wasn't going to work."

Replying on Instagram, Steven wrote: "We both had the conversation the day we came back together after partner swap about it being done. We were asked to leave it open so we could do the Dinner Party & Commitment ceremony & between partner swap and the last CC it was about 10 days wait… so we both knew it was done."

Married At First Sight UK is available to watch on Channel 4.
