Keeley Hawes made a rare red carpet appearance on Thursday (3 July) to promote her exciting new thriller series, which she's described as 'badass'. For the event, she wore a beautiful dress with a 'painted' look, thanks to its stunning print combining florals and faces.
Keeley joined her fellow cast members for the new Prime Video series The Assassin at the Soho Hotel, wearing a dress from Erdem's autumn-winter collection. Co-stars Freddie Highmore (Finding Neverland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Shalom Brune-Franklin (The Tourist) and Devon Terrell were snapped alongside Keeley during the photocall, as the main stars of the new thriller.
The series follows retired assassin Julie (Keeley Hawes) who is forced to reconnect and work with her estranged son Edward (Freddie Highmore) when her dangerous past catches up with her. The six-part series is written by award-winning writers and producers Harry and Jack Williams, who are behind shows like The Tourist and Fleabag.
Keeley revealed that filming involved 'loads of running around. Big action sequences. I’m badass. It was more fun than anybody should be allowed to have at work,' during an interview with The Guardian. A new trailer for the series has also just been released and, by the looks of things, we're in for an explosive ride:
Elsewhere this week, all eyes have been on Wimbledon which has been awash with stars in stylish summer looks. While the classic polka dots, florals and stripes have been out in force, we also spotted Dame Joanna Lumley going against the grain.
The Absolutely Fabulous star instead chose bold leopard print trousers for her day at The Championships, which she paired with a crisp, loose-fitting shirt - and a glass of fizz, of course.
